11 unnumbered pages 21 cm,Title devised, in English, by cataloger,Manuscript dating from Iran's Qajar period (19th century), written in naskh script with interlinear Persian translation in nasta'liq, on thin parchment leaves,Includes a commentary on the Qu'ran by Iman Ja'far ibn Muḥammad al-Sādīq, written as marginal notes in shekaste script,The frontispiece for the endowment notice is unfinished, but the first medallion states the manuscript has been endowed for ʻAlī,The manuscript is signed by Mulla Haidar Qari in the lower medallion,The text is written primarily in black ink, with interlinear notes in red ink, set within a gold, black and red-lined border. The verso of the frontispiece has a beautifully illuminated multi-colored head-piece of floral motifs ornamented with gold.
