This book is Imām Kānqirī al-Māturīdī's supergloss on al-Khayālī's gloss to Taftāzānī's Sharḥ al-ʿAqāʾid al-Nasafiyyah. Being an Ottoman-Māturīdī specialist ( muḥaqqiq ) benefitting from prior great specialists like Gelenbevī and Dawānī, Kānqirī's methods, researches, and verifications in the field of kalām represent some of the most mature expositions of the postclassical Māturīdī tradition. His commentary therefore yields a vast treasure of maturation within both the Māturīdī school of theology, and the field of kalām as a whole
