The book Raddul Azhaan ila Ma’anil Qur'an was authored by Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi to inspire Muslims and direct their focus towards a deeper understanding of the true meanings of the Qur'anic verses. During that period, many Tafseer commentaries were centered on storytelling, which shifted the mindset of many Muslims away from grasping the real essence of the Qur'anic revelations.
