Purchase from James Cummins Bookseller, New York City, NY; 2015. Qur’an [Koran]. Arabic manuscript, 10-line in black naskhi script, with interlinear Persian translation in red, beginnings of chapters in grey font. Two-page polychrome opening (ʻunwāns in gold and colors, with floral motif.). Floral painted boards. Loose in binding, leaves heavily toned, old repairs, some losses to margins. Possibly on sandalwood veneer mounted on tissue. #1311 on stamp
