This dissertation comprises eight chapters and a conclusion. In Chapter One, I talked about the history of the Jews and their conditions ever since they immigrated to Egypt under the leadership of Jacob- peace be upon him- approximately in the 19 th century BC until the second destruction of Jerusalem at the hands of the Romans in the year 70 AD.
