Allama Abdul Hakeem Sharf is a renowned scholar of his time. He gained knowledge of Tafseer, Hadith Spiritualism, Mysticism, Logic, Islamic Jurisprudence, Islamic History and Ilm-ul-Kalam which still in him boyhood. After mastering these subjects he turned him attention to Fiqh, Tasawwuf and Translation Studies. After acquiring rich knowledge he decided to translate the Arabic text books in to Urdu text.He wrote many books on the subjects of Tasawwuf, Fiqh, Hadiths, Uloom-ul-Quran. Allama Abdul Hakeem Sharf Qadri also made him best efforts for the religious, social and political uplift of Muslims in the Islamic World. So, it can be said that Allama Abdul Hakeem Sharf Qadri was responsible for awakening in the Muslim community of Pakistan the desire to regain its moral favor and maintain its purity
